1. Specify and link delivery and payment methods
Configure and link customisable delivery and payment methods
The addition of shipping and payment methods to the admin interface gives admins the ability to create, edit, delete and link different methods.
In the admin interface, different delivery methods can be created and given their name and can be defined to be used in B2C, B2B or both. In addition, you can specify the price of the delivery method and the threshold above which it is free of charge. Payment methods previously created in the system can be assigned to each delivery method individually. For each delivery method, you can specify the surcharge for the payment method to be added to the shopping cart and the associated comment to be displayed in the interface.
Payment methods are displayed in a pre-created state in the admin interface and can be edited. You can specify the name they appear in the interface and which segment they can be used in. These segments influence which payment methods can be assigned to each delivery method.
On the finalise order page of the user interface, you can see which payment methods are associated with each delivery method and their surcharges. In addition, the customer can see the surcharge for the selected delivery and payment method in the e-mail that arrives after the order.
2. Free-form quick search with instant results page and recommended products
Quick search results and product offers
The development of the quick finder provides online store owners with features to encourage shoppers to buy products and read online store content. Clicking on the search icon will bring up a quick view of the search engine, where the admin can set up additional recommendations to encourage purchases, in addition to the free word search.
Before starting the free word search, you can see the list of recent search terms, most popular products, recommended categories and recommended pages. These last three can be modified by the admin from the admin interface, so it is possible that, for example, the actual most popular products are not shown here, but the products added by the admin.
This can be repeated in the same way with popular categories and popular pages. So the admin can set them to appear automatically based on internal logic, or manually select the products, categories and pages that they want to display to the customer in the quick view
Once typing has started in the search box, a list of search suggestions and a hit list will be displayed, encouraging the shopper to explore more products. With each character typed, the results list is further narrowed, making it easier for the shopper to find what they are looking for quickly. Clicking on a product in the results list takes the customer to the product end page, or all the results of the search can be displayed in a list on a new page.
3. Enlarge images on the product end page
Enlarge product images, full-screen viewing option
The zoom function allows users to view product images in full screen. On the product end page, clicking on the images opens the image carousel, where the customer can scroll through the product images on full screen. By clicking on the product image and holding down the left mouse button, the customer can take a closer look at the product. The mouse button can be released to continue scrolling through the product images.
