1. GDPR data management

GDPR makes it easier for users to manage their data

To make GDPR data even easier to manage, users will have the option to download and permanently delete their user data directly from their profile. In case of deletion, the system will warn the user that the action cannot be undone.

In the administrator interface, it is possible to set whether user data is deleted or anonymised, whereby the system deletes some data completely and anonymises some data for more accurate measurements in the future.

Download and delete include all data that can be used to identify the user. The order data will not be deleted, as the customer permits to store them by accepting the Terms and Conditions. The order data associated with anonymised users can still be viewed in the Inactive Users interface, but users can no longer be associated with them.

2. Archiving prices

Under the GVH regulations issued in May 2022, the Competition Authority can check the price history of an online shop at any time. This development has been done at the database level, so the price history can be shown immediately on request, but it is not visible in the interface.
