Logishop webshop version 1.14
In version 1.14, Logishop has added several new promotional shopping features. When the user purchases a specific product list or reaches a certain cart value, discounted products can be offered to them. You can easily set up the product or cart upsell conditions from the admin interface: simply upload the list of recommended products from an XLS file. In the webshop's interface there are badges that draw customers' attention to discounts. This version also makes the acceptance of convenience and basic cookies more transparent for users.
1. Product upsell
Offer additional discounted products when you add specific products to your shopping cart
The product upsells discount allows the online shop operator to encourage the customer to add more products to the shopping cart at a lower price.
When setting up the upsell discount, the administrator can create a product list, in which the system will offer the customer additional discounted products if the products are added to the shopping cart. The product list can be static or dynamic.
In a static list, the variants must be manually assigned, while in a dynamic list, the variants are automatically added by defining a set of conditions (e.g. all mobile phones over 300 000 HUF in blue colour).
The great advantage of a dynamic list is that products that meet the conditions and are uploaded later are automatically added to the list, and products on the list are removed if the conditions no longer apply to them (e.g. the price of a product is reduced, so that its price falls below 300 000 HUF).
The list of recommended products can be created manually by the admin or by uploading an XLS file, and then the type and level of discount can be defined in general for all items on the list or can be modified individually for each product.
On the product end page of goods assigned to a product upsell list, discounted products can be displayed as a badge under the product price and as a drop-down tab under the product description. From here, products can be added to a basket. If the customer wishes to make changes to the upsell products, they can do so from the pop-up shopping cart and the shopping cart page. The upsell selector pop-up will then appear, from which another product can be selected.
You can also set the start and end of the discount period for the product upsell function.
2. Cart upsell
Offer discounted products when basket limit is reached
The cart upsell function allows the system to offer the customer discounted products when a certain cart value is reached.
The administrator must specify the basket amount above which the discount is activated, the products offered and the type and amount of the discount applied to them. The discount on the recommended products can be modified individually, product by product.
The products included in the promotion and their associated discount can be imported in bulk into the system, or the list of promoted products can be exported to XLS.
Both the pop-up basket and the dedicated basket display a call-up badge and a text message, showing the customer how much more they have to spend to choose from the discounted products. Once the limit has been reached, the customer can choose from the discounted products in a pop-up, which will appear as a discounted item in the basket.
If you want to make changes to the upsell products, you can do so from the pop-up shopping cart and the shopping cart page.
3. Cookie accepting pop-up
The cookie accepting pop-up is used to inform the new user what cookies are used by the system. From the pop-up, the user has the option to navigate to the cookie notice, tick the checkbox to accept convenience cookies, or click on the "Accept" button to close the pop-up.
