During the update of the first major Logishop webshop version, we have clarified and standardised the directions for development, ensuring an even smoother integration of new features. We have removed no longer used code, improving the quality of the product’s codebase.

Why did we jump to version 3 from version 1?

When Logishop was launched, we implemented a pre-existing API specification that was already on major version 2, so we decided to keep the Logishop and API versions separate.

Changes in the Logishop core modules have a strong impact on the API, so it is easier to keep track of changes if the core module versions and the API versions are in sync, hence the jump to major version 3.

The API version 2 will stay available and supported at the patch level, but no updates will be added to it.

The API version 3 will be the version under development. The LTS version will be discontinued and the API belonging to the same version will also be shut down.
