UX Design, Service Design

UX Design, Service Design
The success of an e-commerce solution is inseparable from the planned customer experience because our revenue depends on how well our digital sales channels meet our customers' expectations. For this very reason, the work of UX designers on this is essential during development.
The success of an e-commerce solution is inseparable from the planned customer experience, UX, and UI
What exactly do UX and UI designers do?

Part of their work is digital strategic planning and competitor assessment. They research how your target group would use their digital devices. With this in mind, they make outlines and graphic designs, and then examine effectiveness with user-tests before development begins. Feedback is used to continually refine suggestions and designs until they deliver exactly what our clients are looking for.

Why invest in UX?

If we omit the work of UX designers in our online development, we risk a double loss; after all, customers are reluctant to shop on complicated, cumbersome platforms. This way, not only do you lose the revenue from purchases, but also accrue the costs of retrofitting and modifying your digital sales tools. The big advantage of the UX methodology is that you can make your online sales tools customer-friendly even before starting development, saving both time and money.

Qualitative tools employed include user-tests, interviews, and field surveys
How can you measure what customers want?

UX professionals work according to a methodology, formulate an assumption, and then validate it by measuring user satisfaction in the interest of saving. Qualitative tools employed include user-tests, interviews, and field surveys, while quantitative methods can be online questionnaires, remote tests, and analytics.

Who do we recommend our service to?

Anyone who is thinking about online sales and wants satisfied customers, regardless of the industry, will need the work of UX designers.

We've developed three different UX service packages to cover each company's needs, so that even those who only want to make changes in certain areas, or who are planning to introduce a new service, will find the right solution. In order to ensure that a company is entering the market with a product or service that is tailored to the needs of its customers, it is essential to integrate the UX to the design process from the very beginning.

Service package 1: UX QUICK FIX

When is it recommended?

It is worth taking the time to carry out a quick situation analysis and fine-tuning at set intervals, as such a step can prevent major "missteps" in time. The "UX Quick Fix" package is a kind of "introduction" to the world of UX, Product Design: after analysing the webshop, mobile application or website, the experts of LogiNet's UX team, 22.design, will suggest to make minor changes that will lead to a significant result. This could mean better layout of images, changes to the website contents, or optimisation of the search bar or the navigation.

Lead time: up to 1 week

What are the steps in the service package?

  • Heuristic analysis: Heuristic analysis: within the framework of the "UX Quick Fix" package, 22.design experts analyse the interfaces of a given website or webshop based on a given set of criteria, thus identifying usability problems in a short time
  • Competitor analysis: Competitor analysis: analysing the digital interfaces and processes of direct competitors, identifying failures and competitive advantages, and identifying international best practices
  • Prototyping: first clickable version (with limited functionality) of a website or application. It does not require any programming and can therefore be created quickly
  • UI plans: design plans show the final version of the website/app with images, fonts, illustrations and all visual elements that will be displayed on the user interface
Service Package 2: REDESIGN

When is it recommended?

If your company's online interfaces are outdated, do not provide the user experience and quality that customers expect, and traffic have decreased, they need to be redesigned to meet market needs.

Lead time: 2-6 months

What are the steps of the service package?

  • Workshop: workshops, user and stakeholder interviews based on available research materials to define business objectives, develop personas, User Journey Maps (Persona: abstract representation of the target group's typical characters; User Journey Map: the user's "journey" from the meeting phase on the web). In addition, the use of specific analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytitcs, Hotjar) and the sending of various surveys (questionnaires embedded in the website, sent by email or shared on a social networking site)
  • Heuristic analysis: professionals analyse the interfaces of a given website or webshop on the basis of a set of criteria, thus identifying usability problems in a short time
  • Competitor analysis: Analysing the digital interfaces and processes of direct competitors, identifying flaws and competitive advantages, identifying international best practices
  • Prototyping: first clickable version (with limited functionality) of a website or application. It does not require any programming and can therefore be created quickly. It can be used to make designs easy to test and validate
  • Usability test: Usability tests are used to assess the usability of a website and to evaluate the user experience. This is done by testing the site or its prototype with a representative group of website users
  • UI plans: design plans show the final version of the website/app, including images, fonts, illustrations and all visual elements that will be displayed on the user interface
  • Developer support: Testing the correctness of the completed site/app design is also an important task
Service package 3: DESIGN OF NEW SERVICE

When is it recommended?

When a new company enters the market or when you are rethinking your service portfolio - for example, when an online shop has reached its limits - the service package is an effective tool. The development or design project allows the creation of a product division or service range that is tested in multiple rounds, innovative and competitive, so that the company can be sure that it is really tailored to the needs of its customers.

Lead time: 3-6 months

What are the steps in the service package?

  • Foundation workshop - Inception Deck: The design and development of good software requires understanding the client's decision makers, staff, characteristics, motivations, analysing and interpreting requirements, understanding the product to be created, and creating a high-level vision. It is essential to clearly define the key characteristics of the product to be created and the risks to its future marketability. In order to do this, 2 to 3 4-hour workshops will be held to outline these issues. The "Inception Deck", based on a set theme, is much more than a consensus building, information gathering and structuring exercise. During these workshops, experts try to bring as much experience, expertise and ideas as possible to the project.
  • Interviews: conducting user and stakeholder interviews to gain a deeper understanding of user needs and business goals and processes
  • Field Research: mapping the offline world of the service to understand the real life situations and problems for which we are designing our digital solutions
  • Analytics: exploring available analytics tools (Google, Hotjar, etc.) from a UX perspective, with a focus on conversion
  • Heuristic analysis: professionals analyse the interfaces of a website or webshop according to a set of criteria, thus identifying usability problems in a short time
  • Competitor analysis: Analysing the digital interfaces and processes of direct competitors, identifying flaws and competitive advantages, and identifying international best practices
  • Prototyping: first clickable version (with limited functionality) of a website or application. It does not require any programming and can therefore be created quickly. It can be used to make designs easy to test and validate
  • Multi-round usability test: usability tests are used to assess the usability of a website and to evaluate the user experience. To do this, the site or its prototype is tested using a representative group of website users
  • UI plans: design plans show the final version of the website/app, including images, fonts, illustrations and all visual elements that will be displayed on the user interface
  • Developer support: Testing the correctness of the completed site/app design is also an important task
